  The first time I visited Trinity Baptist Church I knew that it was the place for me. From the moment I walked in the door, i could feel the Spirit of God in the atmosphere. Everyone greeted me warmly, and even if I had tried to be a ghost there, no one would have allowed it. The pastor preached a dynamite sermon- challenging, eloquent and intellectually stimulating. I was very thankful that God led me here.
  
  The church is fairly small, however God has blessed it with strong communal bonds. There are lots of children as well, and a dedicated youth pastor.
  
  The music is a good mix of traditional hymns and praise songs with a touch of the south. It's not cutting edge, but that shouldn't be an issue if you come there to worship God and don't go to church to sing hip new praise songs. Feel free to introduce some if you want, i know the church would love to worship with new songs too, but don't expect them to embrace every new song just because it sounds good or feels good.
  
  Military friendly for sure. They prayed for me during my deployment, and several members of the church mailed me cards to encourage me, especially during the holidays.
  
  As mentioned above, the Pastor, Josh Owen, is a very gifted speaker. God has blessed him mightily in this regard.
  
  I recommend this church to everyone who is looking for a church in the Fayetteville area. It is even worth a long drive.

  I visited this church for the first time last Sunday because a friendly church member invited me to visit after we got into a car accident earlier on in the week. A funny way to find a new church, I know. But I went and I cannot tell you how many people welcomed me and were genuinely happy to see me there. I filled out a visitor card and someone came to my house later on in the week to invite me to the small Bible study group that meets in the mornings. The entire congregation was very welcoming and friendly, the sermon was intriguing and relevant (I even did some extended research after hearing the sermon), and it is a small, community-based home for Christ followers. If you are looking for a new church home, I encourage you to visit Trinity Baptist Church :)
